What is under the Witch Hat in Salem?

Well; where do you start? Some witches say they are drawn to Salem, MA but why? Salem is like a High School full of witches. The true magic in Salem witches has been tainted by the lust of money and power. But truth be told many of the Salem withes couldn’t cast their way out of a wet paper bag more less stand the test of the gods and goddess. They are more worried about who sold who a candle or who accepted a gift of money for the temple.

One of the things that bothers me on people all over the Craft is their easiness to put behind their backs what once putted them on the track of Witchcraft.

” Oh no, I had move on , I’m not “so and so” Tradition anymore. Now I’m “So and so”.

This is ok. It’s sometimes a sign that you are searching for another way to express/progress in your spirituality. Other times it’s a sign of something else that we are not discussing here – pure snob-ism.

The thing is that I thought, as many people did, that the Farras (Janet and Stewart) were in fact the emissaries of the Alexandrian Wicca and that their book “Witches Bible” were all Alexandrian.

I was wrong! So wrong.

Salem or Laurie Cabot’s backyard

I was searching the Internet and I fund this article on the Salem News site.

It looks to me that Miss Cabot is cleaning her backyard on fake fortunetellers. Wasn’t more simple if they just let them be…I mean… if they’re fake, I’m sure they would fade away quite quickly… word would spread and if they’re bad fortunetellers they would’nt have clients… right?

It also looks to me that Salem, the supposed “land of the witches” is becoming “land of some witches” or should I say some psychics?

Why do we have to be politically correct when it comes to make a statement in the Craft? Are we supposed to be soft, tender, white light, bright, pink, “agree to everyone”, sparkling politically correct Witches? I don’t think so. Let’s blow this!
